Not all breeds of dogs have suitable
fur coats for sub-zero temperatures. In order to compensate, winter
dog coats are highly recommended. This is particularly important
for short-haired breeds, such as Weimaraner, Pointers, Boxers, Great
Danes, Chihuahuas, Bull Terriers, Greyhounds, Whippets, etc. The
coat should keep the chest and stomach area warm, since this is
where the vital internal organs are. Puppies and senior dogs are
also very susceptible to the cold. It is also nice to take your
dog's coat off when you come inside and have a dry dog underneath...
Our winter dog coats are waterproof nylon and fleece lined. Choose
from sleek, full body coverage Technika All Weather Coats or the
Whistler Warm Up Coat which is designed to fit almost any breed
or size of dog. These coats stay on in the deep snow and are easy
to get on and off and very comfortable.
In fleece we have sporty trail vests for the fashionable pooch
featuring comfy, water resistant fleece. Even dogs who hate to wear
coats love to wear these snuggly vests. Your dog's favorite fleece
snuggly...he may want to wear in the house!
And for the little ones we have toasty 4 legged coats to keep those
snowballs off their feathers... |
